Full video URLs and TikTok share links
TikTok can share a full video address or a shorter redirect link. VidiDown accepts tiktok.com video links, /t/ share links and vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com links, provided they resolve to an accessible public video.

Before you download
Photo slideshows, private videos, profile downloads and active live streams are not supported. A short link that has expired or leads to a profile cannot produce a video file.
Can I download a completed TikTok LIVE?
TikTok’s creator-only LIVE recordings are not public video URLs. Download your own replay through TikTok Studio. If the owner publishes the recording or a clip as a normal public TikTok video, its video link can use this tool.
Can I download TikTok videos without a watermark?
VidiDown saves the version returned by the source service. It does not add a VidiDown watermark, but it cannot guarantee a watermark-free file or remove a logo already embedded in the video. Preview the result before saving.
Does a vm.tiktok.com link work?
Yes, supported vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com short links are accepted. If the link no longer resolves, open the original public video and copy a fresh share link.
Can I save a TikTok photo slideshow or sound as MP3?
No. This version handles individual video files. It does not export photo slideshows, standalone sounds or MP3 audio.
Why is a quality preference unavailable?
TikTok’s available source formats determine the result. A quality preference cannot create a higher-resolution source. Use Best available if you are unsure, then check the actual resolution shown in the result.
Which links can I use?
Use an individual public video link from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or X. Use a published video or completed replay. Profile pages, private archives, playlists, ongoing streams and photo slideshows are not supported. A public link can still be restricted by its platform.
Is this the original video quality?
Best available selects the highest source quality our download path can retrieve and preserves the streams without re-encoding. A platform may have compressed the creator’s original upload. No paid download API is used. A platform can restrict access from our server. Size and duration limits still apply; if the best file is too large, choose a smaller quality explicitly.
Is VidiDown free?
Yes, VidiDown is free. No account or payment is required. Usage limits help keep the service available.
Why isn’t my video downloading?
The video may require a login, have been removed, exceed the displayed limits, or be restricted by its platform. Check that the individual video opens publicly, try a smaller file, or use another link. VidiDown never asks for your social account password.
Where does the file go on my phone?
On iPhone, check Safari’s downloads and the Files app. On Android, check your browser’s Downloads folder. Once saved, use your device’s share menu to move the file. Playback depends on the original video format.
What happens if I refresh the page?
VidiDown remembers your latest request in this browser tab. Refreshing checks the same download, without submitting a new one. The prepared file stays available until its 30-minute expiry.
Do you keep my videos?
Prepared files expire after 30 minutes and are automatically removed. Only your browser session can access your result. VidiDown does not build a public library of downloads. Read the privacy information.
