VidiDown’s interface is an original implementation. Its download services use these open-source projects.

Cobalt API

The unmodified Cobalt API backend is licensed under AGPL-3.0. The deployed backend source is available at this exact source revision. VidiDown does not use Cobalt’s frontend or branding.

yt-dlp and FFmpeg

yt-dlp provides media extraction. Its source uses the Unlicense, with separate licenses for dependencies. FFmpeg provides media inspection and stream merging; its license depends on the packaged build.
