Where did my downloaded video go?
Saving a video in your browser does not always add it to your photo library. Start with the browser’s download list, then move the file if your device supports it.

Start with the actual download
Copy an individual public video link from one of the five supported platforms. Paste it into VidiDown, choose Get video and wait for the result. Playing the preview alone does not save a copy to your device.
Select Download video while the result is still available. Keep the browser open until its download has finished. VidiDown’s temporary server file expires, but a successfully saved local copy stays on your device until you delete it.
On iPhone or iPad
If you used Safari, open its downloads list and select the file. You can also look in the Files app under Downloads; the location depends on your Safari download settings and may be in iCloud Drive or On My iPhone.
Open the completed video in Files and use the share menu. If Save Video is available, it can add a compatible file to Photos. If that option is missing, check the file format and whether the download finished. Other browsers may use their own download controls.
On Android
Open your browser’s menu and choose Downloads, or open your device’s file manager and look for the Download folder. The exact app and folder names depend on the phone and browser.
Open the completed file with a compatible video player. Your gallery may discover it automatically, but that is separate from the browser saving it. You can use the file manager’s move or share options to put it where you want.
If tapping Download opens the video
Some browsers open media in a player instead of immediately showing a save dialog. Use the browser’s download or save-file action if offered. Try your normal browser if you opened VidiDown inside another app’s built-in browser.
The temporary result belongs to the browser session that requested it. Copying its private file link into another browser is not a reliable way to transfer the result. Open VidiDown in the browser you want to use before starting a new request.
If the file is missing or will not play
Check your browser’s download status and device storage first. The result’s Format field reports the actual file type; a .mp4 extension alone does not guarantee that every device can play its video and audio codecs. VidiDown does not transcode every file for every device.
If the server result has expired before you saved it, submit the original public video link again. This creates a new request and uses the normal usage allowance. Refreshing an unexpired result instead checks the existing request.
